One of our biggest challenges to date but what a Journey. When we received the call we had no hesitation to accept the challenge to support one of the largest Trusts outside of London ….4000 Employees, 3 Hospital Sites, £148m Development and over 200 Risk Assessments completed in 12 weeks !
We had a tight timescales to complete the most intricate of risk assessments ranging from A&E, Maternity,Dermatology and of course the Resuscitation wards. The Health and Safety training of Surgeons relating to Hazards and the Likelihood of harm (can you imagine ..Yes its the truth but warmly received !) and reminding (gently) Nurse Practitioners of the most efficient and safe procedure for Emergency Evacuation along with the importance of inspection. Hugely professional, passionate individuals undertaking amazing life saving tasks each day and welcoming us with open arms and embracing small change and education. We were blessed to work with all the Employees and meet some fantastic patients along the way.
